1. Remove the trunk lid trim (see "Removal and installation the trunk lid trim").
2. Unscrew the four nuts securing the decorative trim to the trunk lid.
3. After pressing the lock, disconnect the wiring harness block of the trunk lid release button and license plate lights.
4. Remove the decorative trim from the trunk lid, overcoming the resistance of the two pins.
Note: This is how the four studs A and two pins B for attaching the decorative trim to the trunk lid are located.
5. Remove the wiring harness seal from the hole in the trunk lid...
6. ...and pull out the wiring harness with the block, remove the cover.
7. Install the cover and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
