1. Use a screwdriver to pry up the trunk lid lock trim...
2. ...and remove the trim.
3. Using a screwdriver, pull out the fasteners of the thirteen pins securing the trunk lid trim...
4. ...and remove the pistons.

5. Insert the inner trunk lid opening handle into the hole in the trim...
6. ...and remove the trunk lid trim.
7. Install the trunk lid trim and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
