Removal and installation the starter (Chevrolet Cruze J300)

The starter is mounted on the cylinder block at the rear of the power unit.

You will need; keys "10", "12" and "13".

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Unscrew the power cable fastening nut...



3. ...and remove the wire from the contact bolt of the traction relay.



4. Unscrew the nut securing the control wire of the traction relay.





5. Remove the control wire from the contact bolt of the traction relay and move the removed wires to the side.



6. Unscrew the nut securing the ground wires.



7. Remove the ground wires from the lower starter mounting stud and move them to the side.



8. Unscrew the two studs securing the starter to the engine cylinder block...





9. ...and remove the starter.
