Removal the subframe (Chevrolet Lacetti J200)

            0

We remove the subframe for replacement if it is damaged - cracks in the metal or deformation that leads to a violation of the installation angles of the rear wheels.

We hang up the rear part of the car and securely fix it on factory-made stands.

We dismantle two front and two rear transverse suspension arms (see Removal the front wishbone and Removal the rear wishbone).

Using pliers, squeeze the tabs of the plastic holder of the wheel speed sensor wiring harness and remove the holder from the hole in the subframe bracket.

Similarly, we disconnect the wiring harness holder of the speed sensor of the other wheel from the subframe.

Using pliers, squeeze the tabs of the plastic holder of the wheel speed sensor wiring harness block and remove the holder from the subframe hole.

We place a height-adjustable stop under the subframe.

On each side of the car, using a 17 mm head, unscrew two bolts securing the subframe to the side member and remove the subframe.

We install the new subframe in the reverse order.

Tighten the subframe mounting bolts to the specified torque (see Appendices). After assembly, it is necessary to check and, if necessary, adjust the rear wheel alignment angles at the service station.
