To avoid burns, it is recommended to start work after the exhaust system has cooled down.
We wet the nuts of the flange studs between the two additional mufflers with penetrating liquid.
We remove the brackets of the second additional muffler from the opening of its suspension cushions (see Replacing the exhaust system suspension cushions).
We disconnect the flanges of the pipes of the main and second additional mufflers and remove the sealing gasket (see Replacing the main muffler).

Using a 14 mm socket, unscrew the three nuts securing the flange studs of the first and second additional mufflers.

We move the flange of the second additional muffler back from the studs of the flange of the first additional muffler and remove the muffler.

We remove the sealing gasket from the flange studs of the first additional muffler.
If the rubber suspension pads of the second additional muffler have lost their elasticity or are torn, replace them with new ones. Install new sealing gaskets in the flange joints of the second additional muffler.
We further install the second additional muffler in the reverse order.
