Replacing the low oil pressure sensor (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We remove the low oil pressure sensor to check and replace it, and also if an oil leak appears at the junction of the sensor and the oil pump housing.

By pressing the lock of the wire block..

…we disconnect the block from the sensor.

Using a high 24 mm socket, unscrew the low oil pressure sensor..

The connection of the sensor to the oil pump body is sealed with a copper washer.

If the sealing washer is severely deformed or worn, replace it. When installing the sensor, screw it into the threaded hole of the oil pump housing by hand and tighten it with a tool. Connect the wire block to the sensor.
