Removal the idle speed control valve (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We remove the idle speed control valve for inspection and replacement.

With the ignition off, press the lock..

…disconnect the engine management system wiring harness connector from the regulator connector.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the regulator to the throttle…


Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the regulator to the throttle assembly..

…and remove the regulator from the throttle assembly socket.


…and remove the regulator from the throttle assembly socket.



The connection between the regulator and the throttle assembly is sealed with a rubber ring.


The connection between the regulator and the throttle assembly is sealed with a rubber ring.

Before installing the idle speed control valve, clean the valve seat, air channel and surface under the sealing ring in the throttle assembly.

Apply a thin layer of engine oil to the new regulator sealing ring.

We install the idle speed regulator in the reverse order.
