Removal the fuel rail and injectors (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We remove the fuel rail to check the operation of the injectors and replace them, as well as to remove the fuel pressure regulator and intake manifold.

We release the pressure in the fuel system (see Replacing the fuel filter).

To remove the tip of the injection line tube from the fuel rail fitting, you must use a special tool.

In the absence of a special tool, we make a device from a piece of metal or plastic tube with an internal diameter of 8.0–8.5 mm and an external diameter of 11.5–12.2 mm.

We cut the tube lengthwise into two halves.

We replace the injector sealing rings with new ones.

Before installing the injectors into the ramp and intake manifold, apply a thin layer of engine oil to the sealing rings.

Assembly and installation of the fuel rail with injectors is carried out in the reverse order.
