Removal the air filter (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We carry out the work to flush the internal cavity of the filter housing, replace it, and also to access the right side of the engine compartment.



Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamp on the air supply hose to the throttle assembly.



We remove the hose from the filter cover branch pipe.



Using a 10 mm socket head, unscrew the three bolts securing the air filter housing to the car body.





We lift the air filter, removing the housing pipe from the connecting rubber coupling of the resonator tee.

When assembling, pay attention to the tightness of the connection of the air supply hose and the air filter cover, since the suction of unfiltered air will cause increased wear of engine parts.

We install the air filter in the reverse order.
