Warranty obligations (Chevrolet Orlando 1)

            0

A warranty is an obligation assumed by the manufacturer to eliminate defects and malfunctions of the vehicle within a certain period. In Russia, Chevrolet vehicles sold in the Russian Federation are covered by a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty. Moreover, during the first two years the warranty will be valid without any mileage limitation on the vehicle. During the specified period, the company undertakes to eliminate any faults related to poor assembly and defects in individual parts, provided that all work specified in the maintenance plan is completed within the specified timeframes at specialized service stations of official dealers and with the appropriate notes in the "Service Book". For parts replaced under warranty, the warranty is maintained until the end of the warranty period.

Warranty obligations apply to new vehicles purchased from authorized Chevrolet dealers. The warranty remains in effect after the change of ownership during the established warranty period, provided that the vehicle has undergone regular maintenance before that.

The warranty against through corrosion is valid for 6 years, subject to an annual inspection of the car body after the end of the main warranty period and the elimination of identified faults at authorized service stations.

The car may be removed from the warranty in the event of: the owner violating the rules for operating the car (which are specified in "Operation manual"); performance of maintenance or repairs, as well as installation of additional equipment by the owner himself or at unauthorized service stations.

Warranty obligations do not apply to parts subject to natural wear and tear, as well as damage and breakdowns resulting from a traffic accident or improper use of the vehicle.

In the event of a warranty case, as well as during maintenance, present the warranty engineer with the "Service Book" for the vehicle.
