Windshield and fixed glass — replacement (Chevrolet Trailblazer 1)
These glasses are installed with precise adjustment in the openings relative to the body seals, and are held in their position by special adhesive materials. Removing fixed glass is a complex and labor-intensive procedure, the implementation of which is beyond the capabilities of a car mechanic. It is difficult to achieve a reliable and waterproof connection of glass to the body without sufficient experience and practice. In addition, this work is associated with the risk of glass damage, which is especially dangerous for laminated windshields, so car owners are strongly advised to replace fixed glass, especially windshields, by contacting a repair and maintenance station.
