The electrical system with grounding of the negative pole of the battery has a voltage of 12 V. The power source is an acid battery, recharged by a generator.
This chapter describes the repair and maintenance of various electrical components and systems not directly related to engine operation. Battery. the ignition system, generator and starter are described in chapter 5.
Before working on any electrical equipment, disconnect the negative battery cable to avoid short circuit or fire.
