Electrical equipment faults (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

Most often, electrical equipment malfunctions occur during everyday use of a car. For objective reasons, electrical equipment repairs should preferably be carried out by qualified car service specialists.

WARNING: Electrical equipment malfunction (short circuit) may cause electrical wiring to ignite and cause a fire.

If any electrical circuit fails, first check whether the fuse protecting it has blown, referring to Tables 10.1 and 10.2 (see "Location of fuses, fuse links and their replacement").



Replace the faulty fuse. If the same fuse blows again, it is a signal for immediate repair of the corresponding electrical circuit (see "Diagnostics of faults of on-board electrical equipment").

WARNING: It is strictly forbidden to replace a blown fuse with another one of a higher rating, or with a "bug".
