Removal procedure

1. Unscrew the nuts from the cover plate.

2. Remove the tailgate trim from the vehicle.

Installation procedure

1. Install the rear hatch trim and tighten the nuts.

Tighten

Tighten the tailgate trim nuts to 6 Nm (53 lbs.in).
