The seat cushion is shown, the back is the same.
Caution: If the seat cushion or backrest foam is damaged during removal of the heating element, replace the seat cushion or backrest to prevent personal injury.
Removal procedure
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the airbag and heated mat wiring harness.
3. Remove the seat back and/or cushion. See "Back of the front seat", "Front seat cushion" in this section.
4. Remove the cover from the seat back and/or cushion.
5. Remove the heated mat from the cushion.
Installation procedure
1. Install a heated mat.
2. Install the upholstery on the backrest and/or seat cushion.
3. Install the seat back and/or cushion. See "Back of the front seat", "Front seat cushion" in this section.
4. Connect the airbag and heated mat wiring harness.
5. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
