Front seat back (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. See "Front seats" in this section.



2. Remove the back panel.



3. Remove the trim from each seat.

4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

5. Remove the bolts and seat back.

Installation procedure

1. Place the seat back onto the seat cushion.

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.

2. Install the front seat back bolts.

Tighten

Tighten the front seat back bolts to 45 N·m (33 ft·lbs).

3. Connect the electrical connectors.



4. Reinstall the seat trim to its original position.

5. Install the rear panel onto the seat.

6. Install the front seat in the vehicle. See "Front seats" in this section.
