Driver's seat sliding unit with electric drive (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Remove the driver's seat. See "Front seat" in this section.

2. Remove the front seat cushion. See "Front seat cushion" in this section.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

4. Remove the bolts, screws and shift assembly.

Installation procedure

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.

1. Install the shear unit using bolts and screws.

Tighten

Tighten the shift unit bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

Tighten the shift unit screws to 10 Nm (89 lbs.in).

2. Connect the electrical connector.

3. Install the front seat cushion. See "Front seat cushion" in this section.

4. Install the driver's seat. See "Front seat" in this section.
