Front seat trim (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Shown is a manual driver's seat, similar to the electrically adjustable driver's seat.

Removal procedure

1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. See "Front seats" in this section.

2. Remove the screw and tilt lever.

3. Remove the screws and trim from the front seat.

Installation procedure

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.

1. Install the front seat trim with screws.

Tighten

Tighten the front seat trim screws to 12 N·m (106 lbs.in).

2. Install the tilt mechanism lever.

3. Install the front seat in the vehicle. See "Front seats" in this section.
