Backrest of the rear seat (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. See "Back seat" in this section.

2. Remove the upholstery from the rear seat. See "Rear seat upholstery" in this section.

3. Remove the bolts on both sides of the rear seat.

4. Remove the rear seat back.

Installation procedure

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.

1. Install the rear seat back using bolts.

Tighten

Tighten the rear seat back bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

2. Install the rear seat trim. See "Rear seat upholstery" in this section.

3. Install the rear seat into the vehicle. See "Back seat" in this section.
