Heated mat switch (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the screws and remove the small item box on the rear console.



3. Remove the rear console cover and disconnect the connector.



4. Loosen the screws and remove the heating mat switch.

Installation procedure

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.

1. Install the heating mat switch using screws.

Tighten

Tighten the heating mat switch screw to 2 Nm (18 lbs.in).

2. Connect the connector and install the rear console cover.



3. Install the small item box to the rear console using screws.

Tighten

Tighten the screws of the storage box on the rear console to 2 N·m (18 lbs.in).

4. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
