Front seat cushion (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Shown is a manual driver's seat, similar to the electrically adjustable driver's seat.

Removal procedure

1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. See "Front seats" in this section.

2. Remove seat trim.

3. Remove the seat cushion bolts.

4. Remove the cushion from the seat guide.

Installation procedure

1. Install the cushion onto the seat guide.

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.

2. Install the seat cushion using bolts.

Tighten

Tighten the front seat cushion bolts to 12 Nm (106 lbs.in).

3. Install seat trim.

4. Install the front seat in the vehicle. See "Front seats" in this section.
