Removal procedure
1. Remove the rear wiper arm. See "Rear wiper arm" in this section.
2. Remove the lower rear hatch trim panel. See Section 9S, Rear of the Body.
3. Remove the rear wiper motor bolts.
4. Remove the electric motor by sliding the pivot shaft out of the rear window sealing bushing.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
Installation procedure
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Insert the rear wiper motor into the rear window sealing bushing.
3. Tighten the windshield wiper motor bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (11 ft·lbs).
4. Install the tailgate trim panel. See Section 9S, Rear Body.
5. Install the windshield wiper motor assembly.
