Removal and installation the rear window wiper motor (Chevrolet Lumina 1)

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Using a small screwdriver, disconnect the windshield washer hose from the wiper arm (see illustration).

3. Press the locking tab and remove the wiper blade from the motor shaft (see illustration).

4. Unscrew and remove the washer and nut of the windshield wiper motor, remembering the position of the nut (see illustration).

5. Open the rear door and remove the inner door panel (chapter 11, Section 11).

6. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector through the hole. Disconnect the rear door retaining latch. Loosen the bolts, remove the electric motor and pull it out through the hole (see illustration).

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
