2. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

3. Remove the front mudguards (see "Removal and installation mudguards").

4. Remove the four screws securing the front lower trim of the front bumper. Then, using a screwdriver, pry out the retainers of the four clips securing the trim to the vehicle subframe and remove the clips, then remove the trim.

5. Remove the three screws securing the lower front bumper mount.

6. Remove the two bolts securing the front bumper to the body.

Note: This is how the bolts that secure the bumper to the body are located.

7. Using a screwdriver, pull out the clips of the pins of the upper bumper mount to the bracket.

8. ...and remove the pistons.

Note: This is how the pins that attach the front bumper to the bracket are located.

9. Overcoming the force of the clamps, carefully remove the latches securing the bumper to the wing.

10. Remove the front bumper.

11. From the inside of the bumper, press the retainer...

12. ...and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the outside air temperature sensor.
13. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
