Removal and installation the air intake box grille (Chevrolet Cruze J300)

You will need: a flat-blade screwdriver, a 15 mm wrench.



1. Remove the hood seal from the front shield flange.



2. Using a screwdriver, pull out the fasteners of the three pins securing the right side of the grille (the leftmost piston simultaneously secures the left and right parts of the air intake box grille)...



3. ...and remove the pistons.





4. Remove the right part of the grille.



5. Remove the levers from the wiper linkage axles (see "Replacing windshield wiper arms").

6. Pry up the clips of the air intake box grille mounting pins...



7. ...and pull out the fasteners of the two pins securing the left part of the grille.



8. Remove the pistons.





9. Remove the left part of the air intake box grille.

10. Install the air intake box grille and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
