Possible clutch malfunctions, their causes and solutions (Chevrolet Cruze J300)

Cause of malfunction Method of elimination
Incomplete disengagement of the clutch (clutch "leads")

Reduced full travel of clutch pedal

Warpage of the driven disk (end runout more than 0.5 mm) Replace the slave disk assembly

Fluid leak from main or working clutch release cylinder Replace the master or slave cylinder
Loosening the rivets securing the pressure spring Replace the clutch housing with pressure plate in collection
