Direction indicator and hazard warning flasher relay (Chevrolet Niva 1)

Relay-breaker K3 (see figure 7-25) type 493.3747 or 495.3747, installed in the mounting block, is used to create an intermittent light signal of the direction indicators both in the hazard warning mode and in the direction indicator mode. In addition, it allows you to check the serviceability of the direction indicator lamps. Thus, if one of the direction indicator lamps burns out, the frequency of the turn signal on/off cycles doubles. The direction indicator control lamp also flashes at a doubled frequency.

The flasher relay must ensure flashing of the direction indicator lamps at a frequency of 90±30 cycles per minute at an ambient temperature of -40°C to +65°C and a voltage of 10.8 to 15 V.
