1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. When performing this procedure on a Chevy TrailBlazer, you will need to remove the instrument panel trim (see chapter 11).
3. When performing this procedure on a GMC Envoy or Olds Bravada, you will need to remove the floor console and center instrument panel trim (see chapter 11).
4. Pull out the fasteners and remove the transfer case control switch from the instrument panel.
5. Disconnect the wiring connector located at the rear of the switch.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
