1. Make sure that the shift servomotor is in the position corresponding to the increased gear of the two-wheel drive. Raise the vehicle and support it on vertical stands.
2. Remove the protective panels located under the transfer case and fuel tank.
3. Remove the front propeller shaft (see chapter 8).
4. Disconnect the shift servo motor connector.
5. Remove the bolts and shift servo motor and transmission unit.
6. Inspect and replace the rubber gasket if necessary. If the gasket is in satisfactory condition, it can be used after removal.
7. Place the servo motor and gasket in their original location on the transfer case, then insert the bolts. Tighten the servo motor mounting bolts to the specified torque.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
