Removal procedure
1. Lower the window completely.
2. Unscrew the screw of the outer window sealing strip.
3. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Go to section 9L, Glass and mirrors.
4. Remove the outer window sealing strip from the door.
Installation procedure
1. Press the outer groove molding onto the door.
Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.
2. Tighten the screw of the outer window sealing strip.
Tighten
Tighten the screw of the outer window sealing strip with a torque of 1.3 Nm (12 lbs.in).
3. Install outside rear view mirror. Go to section 9L, Glass and mirrors.
4. Raise the glass.
