Removal procedure
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the outside rearview mirror cover.
3. Remove the bolts and the outside rearview mirror assembly from the door.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror if it has a power drive.
Installation procedure
Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.
1. Connect the electrical connector to the mirror if it is equipped with a power mirror.
2. Install the outside rearview mirror assembly onto the door using screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws of the outside rearview mirror assembly to 10 N·m (7 lb-ft).
3. Install the outside rearview mirror cover.
4. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
