Door seal (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

The front door is shown, the back door is similar.

Removal procedure

1. Remove the bolt securing the door open position retainer to the body and the door open position retainer.



2. Remove the door seal.

Installation procedure

1. Install the door seal.

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.

2. Install the door open position retainer to the body using a bolt.

Tighten

Tighten the bolt securing the door open position retainer to the body with a torque of 20 N·m (15 lb-ft).
