Hood hinges — removal and installation (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Remove the hood. Go to "Hood" in this section.

2. Remove the wing. See "Wing" in this section.

3. Remove the bolts and hinge.

Installation procedure

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.

1. Install the hinge using bolts.

Tighten

Tighten the hinge bolts to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft).

2. Install the wing. See "Wing" in this section.

3. Install the hood. Go to "Hood" in this section.
