Brake fluid
Brake fluid must meet DOT-4 specifications. Use only clean fluid from a sealed container.
Liquid in contact with air will absorb moisture. The presence of water in the brake fluid can cause the fluid to boil and damage rubber parts. Repair all leaks. Then add fluid to the reservoir up to the MAX mark.
Thoroughly clean the master cylinder reservoir cap before removing it. Do not allow dirt to enter the brake fluid reservoir.
There is a fluid level sensor in the master cylinder reservoir. When the liquid level drops below the permissible level, the control lamp should light up.
The required brake fluid level is indicated by a mark on the left side of the master cylinder reservoir. If the fluid level is below the MIN·mark, check the hydraulic brake system for leaks. Repair all leaks. Then add fluid to the reservoir up to the MAX mark.
