Removal and installation the audio system (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.



2. Remove the center instrument panel trim panel.



3. Remove the screws and audio system.

4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the audio system.

Installation procedure

1. Connect the electrical connectors of the audio system.

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.

2. Install the audio system using screws.

Tighten

Tighten the audio system screws to 4 Nm (35 lbs.in).



3. Install the center instrument panel trim panel.

4. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
