Removal procedure



1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

3. The X-BCM module can be seen through the bracket hole; insert your hands into the hole along the arrow.

4. Disconnect the clips on both sides of the X-BCM module and remove the two nuts through the hole.



5. Remove the staple through the hole.

6. Disconnect the electrical connector.

7. Remove the X-BCM module through the hole.

Important: Perform SPO reprogramming when replacing X-BCM.

Installation procedure



1. Connect the electrical connector.

2. Install the X-BCM module and bracket with nuts through the hole.

2. Install the X-BCM module and bracket with nuts through the hole.


3. Set the instrument cluster. See Section 9E, Instrumentation/Driver Information System.



4. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
