Unlock the lever, adjust the steering wheel position, then re-engage it and make sure it is fully locked.
Adjust the steering wheel only when the vehicle is stationary.
Caution: If a strong impact is applied along the steering column shaft while adjusting the steering wheel or when the lever is locked, damage to components associated with the steering wheel may occur.
