Adjusting the seat and steering wheel position (Chevrolet Orlando 1)

The design of the front seats allows them to be moved longitudinally, as well as changing the angle of the backrest. The driver can additionally adjust the height of his seat cushion.



The seats are equipped with height-adjustable headrests. The headrest should be positioned so that the back of the head rests against its central part. To adjust the headrest, press the lock on the guide trim.

The car's steering wheel is adjustable in height and reach. To adjust, lower the locking lever.

Warning! When the vehicle is moving, do not adjust the driver's seat or steering wheel to avoid losing control of the vehicle.

When adjusting the steering wheel and seat, follow these rules:

1. With the clutch pedal fully depressed, the left leg should be slightly bent at the knee. On vehicles with automatic transmission, the right leg should be slightly bent when the brake pedal is fully depressed.

2. The rim and hub of the steering wheel must not cover the instrument panel.

3. The wrist of the outstretched arm should rest on the top of the steering wheel (your back should not come off the back of the seat).



This position is the least tiring and allows you to operate the vehicle controls as quickly as possible when the road situation suddenly changes.
