Glass tinting (Chevrolet Orlando 1)

            0

Car window tinting is one of the most common options for car tuning. A car with tinted windows looks more impressive than usual. Thick tinting of glass is a good light insulator, which is especially important when using a car in hot weather, since it significantly reduces the likelihood of blinding by the sun's rays. Tinted glass is able to block ultraviolet rays, which prevents the fading of upholstery and plastic parts of the car interior. In addition, tinted windows make it much harder to see into the car's interior, which in turn reduces the likelihood of unauthorized entry into the interior due to items left inside.

However, tinting also has its disadvantages. Depending on the light transmittance of tinted glass, visibility through it is also reduced, which can cause a traffic accident.

Traffic regulations permit the use of tinted glass (except mirrored). The light transmittance of the windshield must be at least 75%, and the front side windows - at least 70%. Tinting of the upper part of the windshield with a width of no more than 140 mm is also allowed. The use of tinted film that does not adhere well to the glass is not allowed, and the presence of air bubbles is also not allowed.
