Mirror with electrochromic coating

Your vehicle may be equipped with an electrochromic mirror (ECM), which automatically reduces glare from the headlights of a vehicle behind you, providing your eyes with a uniform perception of light intensity.
To turn on the ECM mirror, press the button on the mirror case. The indicator on the button will light. The mirror is turned on when the ignition is on.
To turn off the ECM mirror, press this button again.
Note: Two photocells are installed to measure the intensity of ambient light and the light from the headlights of vehicles behind.
Do not cover these photocells or hang any objects on the electrochromic mirror. This may limit the performance of the electrochromic mirror and make it unusable.
