Removal the fluid pressure regulators in the rear wheel brake mechanisms (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

            0

We replace pressure regulators when the braking efficiency of the rear wheels cannot be adjusted (early or late locking in relation to the front wheels) or leaks of brake fluid in their connection with the master brake cylinder.

We unscrew the fittings of the rear brake pipes from the pressure regulators.

Using a 22 mm wrench, unscrew the regulator and remove it.

Using a 22 mm wrench, unscrew the regulator and remove it.

If it is necessary to replace the pressure regulator, we replace both regulators, even if only one is faulty.

New regulators must have the same markings.

This is necessary to avoid uneven braking.

We install pressure regulators in the reverse order.

We replace the sealing rings with new ones.

After installation, bleed the hydraulic drive of the brake system (see Bleeding the hydraulic brake system).
