Escalade (halogen headlights)
1. Unscrew the two front mudguard liner mounting screws.
2. Disconnect the two washer hose clamps (only left headlight).
3. Open the hood.
4. Remove the hood panel (Escalade).
5. Remove the radiator grille.
6. Loosen the headlight mounting bolt (2). Tightening torque 6 Nm.
7. Loosen the headlight mounting bolts (1). Tightening torque 6 Nm.
8. Disconnect the clips (3) by pulling the headlight towards you.
9. Remove the headlight (4).
10. Disconnect the connectors.
11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Yukon
1. Unscrew the two front mudguard liner mounting screws.
2. Disconnect the two washer hose clamps.
3. Open the hood.
4. Remove the radiator grille.
5. Loosen the headlight mounting bolt (2). Tightening torque 6 Nm.
6. Loosen the headlight mounting bolts (1). Tightening torque 6 Nm.
7. Disconnect the clips by pulling the headlight towards you.
8. Remove the headlight (3).
9. Disconnect the connectors.
10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Tahoe, Avalanche
1. Unscrew the two front mudguard liner mounting screws.
2. Open the hood.
3. Remove the radiator grille.
4. Loosen the headlight mounting bolt (1). Tightening torque 6 Nm.
5. Loosen the headlight mounting bolts (2). Tightening torque 6 Nm.
6. Disconnect the clips by pulling the headlight towards you.
7. Remove the headlight (4).
8. Disconnect the connector (3).
9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Escalade (gas discharge headlights)
1. Unscrew the two front mudguard liner mounting screws.
2. Disconnect the two washer hose clamps.
3. Open the hood.
4. Remove the radiator grille.
5. Loosen the headlight mounting bolt (1). Tightening torque 6 Nm.
6. Loosen the headlight mounting bolts (2). Tightening torque 6 Nm.
7. Disconnect the clips (3) by pulling the headlight towards you.
8. Remove the headlight (5).
9. Disconnect the connectors (4).
10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
