Removal and installation the headlight (Chevrolet Orlando 1)

We remove the headlight unit to replace it, for example, after a traffic accident. We carry out the work in the following order:

1. We prepare the car for maintenance and repair.

2. Remove the front bumper.

3. Remove the filler neck of the windshield washer reservoir (when removing the left headlight).

3. Remove the filler neck of the windshield washer reservoir (when removing the left headlight).


4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector for the side light and turn signal lamps.

4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector for the side light and turn signal lamps.


5. Disconnect the connector from the high/low beam lamp.

6. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the headlight corrector.

7. Using a 7 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two bolts of the side mounting of the headlight.

8. Using the same wrench, unscrew another bolt securing the headlight unit from the radiator side.

9. Remove the protrusion of the trim from the hole in the fastening element of the front bumper.

11. Using a 7 mm socket wrench, unscrew the upper headlight mounting bolt.

12. Remove the headlight.

13. Install the headlight in reverse order. We check and, if necessary, adjust the headlights.
