Replacing speakers (Chevrolet Orlando 1)

The work is shown using the example of replacing the speaker in the front left door; the other speakers installed in the doors are replaced in a similar manner.

1. We prepare the car for maintenance and repair.

2. Remove the door trim.

3. Using a 7 mm wrench, unscrew the speaker mounting screw.

4. Remove the upper part of the speaker from the door panel towards you.



5. Press the lock and disconnect the wiring harness connector 1 from the speaker terminals, and use a special puller to disconnect the wiring harness lock 2.



6. Remove the speaker.

7. Install the parts in reverse order.

Note: A non-original speaker usually has different mounting points. To install it, you will need to drill new holes in the inner door panel. Be careful when drilling holes. Do not damage the wire harnesses located in the door cavity.
