1. Increased oil consumption
Oil stains or leaks appear under or on the engine surface
1. The oil pan seal or drain plug is not tight. When changing engine oil, replace the sealing ring or restore the oil pan seal using an oil-resistant sealant.
2. The seal of the emergency oil pressure sensor is damaged. Reinstall the sensor, applying oil-resistant sealant to its threaded portion, and tighten it to the specified tightening torque.
3. The cylinder head cover gasket is leaking. Replace the gasket.
4. Crankshaft seals are worn or damaged. Check the technical condition of the engine by external inspection. Replace the faulty crankshaft oil seal.
Blue smoke from the exhaust pipe when the engine is running
1. Wear of oil scraper caps. Replace the valve stem seals.
2. Wear, sticking or breakage of piston rings. Check the technical condition of the engine. You can try to eliminate ring sticking using motor oil additives. Repair the engine piston group, replace faulty parts.
2. Decrease in brake fluid level
1. Malfunction (leakage) wheel brake cylinders. Check the technical condition of the brake system, replace faulty parts.
2. Damage to brake system tubes or hoses. Check the technical condition of the brake system, replace faulty parts.
3. Severe wear of brake pads. Check the condition of the brake system. Replace the brake pads.
3. Decrease in coolant level
1. Damage to the cooling system hoses or loosening of their fastening clamps. We determine the locations of leaks based on coolant leaks. We replace faulty clamps and other parts.
2. Damage to the radiator of the cooling system. Inspection (by the drips) we determine the location of the damage. If it is impossible to eliminate the leak (using sealant or "cold welding"), we replace the faulty radiator.
3. Damage to the air conditioning system heater radiator. Inspection (by the drips) we determine the location of the damage. If it is not possible to eliminate the leak using sealant or "cold welding", we replace the faulty radiator.
4. Damage to the cylinder head gasket. We inspect the oil level indicator. If white emulsion is detected on the indicator, it is necessary to remove the cylinder head and determine the cause of the malfunction. Check the condition of the cylinder head; replace a deformed head. Install a new cylinder head gasket.
4. Increased fuel consumption
1. Insufficient air pressure in the tires. Check the tire pressure and, if necessary, bring the pressure up to normal.
2. The air filter is clogged. Replace the air filter element.
3. Sticking of the brake mechanism working cylinders. Check the technical condition of the brake system, replace faulty parts.
4. The oxygen concentration sensor is faulty. Perform diagnostics of the engine management system. Check the crankshaft position sensor, replace if faulty.
5. The fuel injectors are faulty. Check and replace if necessary.
6. The engine management system is faulty. Perform diagnostics of the engine management system. Replace faulty elements.
