Requirements for oil quality and replacement periods (Chevrolet Orlando 1)

Engine oil requires periodic replacement. In accordance with the maintenance plan, under normal operating conditions, the engine oil is changed every 15,000 km. With low mileage, it is necessary to change the engine oil at least once a year. For frequent short-distance trips, on dusty roads, and when operating a vehicle with the engine idling for a long time (frequent stops or traffic jams on the roads) more frequent oil changes may be required.

When choosing engine oil, you must follow the recommendations of the car manufacturer (see table). The engine life depends on the quality of the oil, so do not save on oil and oil filter.

Note! During the vehicle's warranty period, only the recommended engine oil must be used. Using even a higher quality motor oil, but not one approved by the vehicle manufacturer, may result in the warranty being voided.
