If a "truncated" block is purchased, it is necessary to install on it the cylinder head, the lubrication system pump and the oil intake pipe, the sump, the coolant system pump, the drive chain and the front engine cover, as well as the valve cover (see chapter 2A). In order to save time and avoid complications during the procedure, the external engine components must be installed in the sequence given.
