Left and center seat belt buckle for rear seat (double folding seat) (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Fold the rear left seat assembly forward using the folding lever.



2. Remove the screws and both rear seat outer panels.



3. Remove the upper gas strut assembly retainer.

4. Disconnect the upper ball joint of the gas-filled strut assembly.





5. Remove the screws and remove the rear seat interior panel.



6. Loosen the bolt and remove the seat belt buckle.

Installation procedure

1. Secure the seat belt buckle with the bolt.

Tighten

Tighten the seat belt buckle mounting bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb-ft).



2. Install the rear seat inner panel with screws.



Tighten

Tighten the rear seat cover mounting screws to 3 N·m (27 lbs.in).



3. Attach the upper ball joint of the gas strut assembly and install the upper retainer.



4. Install the rear seat outer panels with screws.

Tighten

Tighten the rear seat cover screws to 3 N·m (27 lbs.in).
