Removal procedure
1. Remove the main hood latch release handle. See section 9R, "Front Body Part".
2. Loosen the screw and remove the steering column opening pillar from the instrument panel.
Installation procedure
1. Install the steering column opening stand into the instrument panel.
Tighten
Tighten the screw of the steering column opening stand in the instrument panel with a torque of 2 N·m (18 lbs.in).
2. Install the hood main latch release handle. See section 9R, "Front Body Part".
