Windshield wiper system
The windshield wiper system consists of a wiper motor, linkage, wiper arms with blades, and a wiper/washer switch. In the windshield wiper circuit, a return device is installed, consisting of a worm gear and a cam disk. The device is used to temporarily maintain the circuit in a closed state after the switch is switched to the off position. The wiper system is driven by a permanent magnet motor. The windshield wiper motor is mounted on the bulkhead and connected directly to the windshield wiper linkage.
The windshield wiper motor has two speeds: LO (low) and HI (high), and is also able to work in intermittent mode. The wiper switch is an integral part of the wiper/washer switch. The windshield wipers are activated by a lever located on the right side of the steering column.
Windshield washer system
The windshield washer system includes a washer fluid reservoir, washer fluid pump, hoses, jets, and a wiper/washer switch. The windshield washer reservoir is installed behind the front right wheel arch mudguard. A washer pump is attached to the reservoir, which supplies washer fluid through hoses to two jets mounted on the hood. The washer switch is an integral part of the wiper/washer switch. The windshield washers are activated by a lever located on the right side of the steering column.
